Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Sam Holeman grew up with a passion for performance. At a young age, he took acting classes at the Arvada Center for the Arts and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Before too long, he started performing on stage at East High School under the direction of Melody Duggan. Sam currently studied acting under the direction of Anne Penner and Rick Barbour at the University of Denver and Jennifer Rincon at Visionbox Studios. He has also worked with renowned directors Sabin Epstein and Ina Marlowe. He graduated with a double major B.A. in Strategic Communications and English, magna cum laude.
His most notable independent film work includes Richard in The Hazing, John in Highlight Reel, Chris in STOP, and Nick in Charlie.
Sam’s most notable theatre work includes Joe Cooper in Killer Joe, Hamlet, Philinte in The Misanthrope and Jim in Red Cross.
Sam seeks to cultivate sensitivity and empathy in himself and others through the craft of storytelling. Rather than find a means to an end, Sam seeks to live in a space of intensity where the process is the reward itself.
In his free time, he loves to watch movies, run, hike, play video games and read a good novel.
Sam is very thankful for his mom, friends and agents, Kathey True and Kathleen Ham, for supporting his love for acting.
